Where are we know?
The year is about to end and we looked back on what we were doing a year ago.
On these dates last year, we were working in our third prototype, and we had a very different vision of what we think Kisin will be. We thought Kisiin will be a long game with 5 levels or more, and with a very different gameplay. Luckily, we evolve and learn, we had our bad steps and then we return to the path, we grow as developers and thanks to all that now we are close to finish Kisin and publish it.
We like to share with you some of our improvements and don't forget to leave you thoughts in the comments. Thank all of you for joining us in this long trip that is just starting.
Our Zyana evolution from last year till now, We rethink and decide that the old battle suit was cumbersome for battle, so we make it more light and simple.
Izel's story changed a bit, since a year ago we thought of her as a priestess, that's why the pre-Hispanic costume, but we realized that more than a priestess, she is a guardian with high technological knowledge and that's why we changed her dress to a suit of a student/scientist.
Our bosses, as you can see, our designs were way far from what are they now. Our thoughts of Kisin last year were stuck in an idea of that Astlan society was a pre-Hispanic one, so we make the designs based in that, but in the reconstruction of the game we rethink about it and accepted that yes, Kisin is prehispanic, but they have great technology and great science advances, so decide to show that and we are very glad with the results.
We can make this post larger talking about all the things we change and evolved, but that is not necessary, as you can see Kisin change for good, and we as developers learn a lot from this process and thats what we are gonna keep from this year.
