V0.4 Update


Hello guys. We are contuing making progress in this project, and so far we can tell you that we are focusing entirely in getting a good combat system as we want it to be the core of our game. So here is the details of what we have improved/changed/added to make the combat feeling more satisfaying and engaging.

  • We added a throwable knife. So the player can do great damage from a distance to the enemy it hits. This allows you to instantly stun the enemy making it available to finish him at that moment.
  • To "Finish" an enemy now you need to press a different button/key from the one you use to attack. This allow you to decide if you wish to do a Finisher Move or rather take out the enemy with regular attacks.
  • Beaten Up Areas were added to the game. Now there are a couple of areas where you are force to take out all the spawned enemies in order to continue.
  • Aggro was implemented. If you hit an enemy from afar or any of them sees you, he will instantly go after you and also will aggrevate surrounding enemies. So you need to watch out how you will approach them
  • Ladder movement was fixed. Now you can use it without issues
  • Pass Through Platforms was fixed. Now you can pass to both sides of the platform without issues.
  • Jump Unresponsivenes was fixed. Now the jump responds really good. You won't miss those double jumps anymore.

V0.3 Update Changes.

  •  The player Animations were updated to V2.0 ( Now they are shiner!)- Lights were added to the game. We want to have a light that is strongly based in lights so we decided to include them from the start.
  •  Fireflies nests were added. You use them to see around the level, and must reach another nest to resupply light.  Also you can revive Dead FireFlies Nest if you carry find one and put some FireFlies in it! !
  • A Finisher Move was added to the player. (Our main character can finish the enemy in a nice way if you hit him while his Posture Bar is gone)
  •  The currency was changed. Now you will get metal ores when you kill enemies. They can also be found around the level in som ore clusters.
  •  The collectiles were taken out. They were not as cool as we tought they would be so we decided to take them out for now.
  • Some art was taken out and the level returned to be a grey box level for now. We still are trying to figure out how the art of our game will be so we don't want you to have the wrong idea of how it will be for now.
  •  Some medium and minors bugs were corrected that did prevent you from finishing our game. 

V0.2 Update

  • Control Layout access via Pause Menu
  • A Hint mechanism to tell the player which button press to climb the walls
  •  The player attack damage and enemy Guard and Health were tunned for more interesting combat
  • The camera panning for the keys are faster than before
  • The Unlock Door Moment was improved. It needs to reflect a more interesting and satisfactory moment. (Kind of the Climax of this MVP)
