A New Weapon and new object to play with.
Hello everyone!
These past two weeks have been of good improvement. There was the adding of two mayor features that could make Project Smash so much fun and entertaining, besides the normal quantity of bugs(always massive) that these changes have with them.
Another important think to tell is that it seems that the game is reaching a nice point to start considering it a Nice Grey Level Alpha of the project in mind, so the day that this project will be at your disposal to try it might be near, so if you want to play it stay close.
Ok! Going back to our normal blog update. The first update is the adding of a new weapon, the Mace. Now you will have the option to keep fighting with your Fists, landing fast, but weak attacks or, you can take the monsters with your Mace, landing slow, but powerful attacks. How will you use it depends on you!
The other major update was the integration of Environmental Interactions to further increase the diversification of actions that you will be able to do in your playthrough. In this case we added a Big, Heavy, and kind of clishe Boulder!! Hahaha. With this new object in your game you will be able to do different things in Project Smash. From attacking the enemies with it, to destroy doors or cracked walls, allowing you to venture further in the game. Nice isn’t ?
There are more details within those two updates, but we can leave those to another time.
Also other things that were solved here were some smalls bugs.
- -The red tint of the enemies when they do an Unblockable Attack changed. It is only visual improvement from our perspective.
- -The Smasher (The big monster) now suffers from Armor Break. This happens when it is attacked with the Boulder or a Finisher move, making him lose part of its body and receiving more damage from subsequent attacks.
- -There was a funny bug regarding the monsters and slopes. If the monsters were over a slope, they would slide making them try to get to the origin position again, visually that was like if they were vibrating all the time. Sadly that was fixed.
These past two weeks were of hard work and a lot creativity, but we are happy and proud with the results, and will continue this project till finishing (Probably will take a couple of years, but we don’t mind hehehe)
