V0.7 Update. Single Player games will always be wanted
Hello everyone, as promised here is the progress made during the past two weeks to Project Smash.
The game has startd to get a better form around the dynamic and fast combat it is spected to have and because of that we have done some changes to the enemies. Now during the fight depending on what action they are doing they will let other enemies to past through them. Allowing for the rest of them to keep pressure on the player.. Also made the Ranger Enemy to detect and attack more freely the player. A more intense approach if you ask me.
Also exists now some destructible objects for you to keep breaking during the playthrough. This could be a minor detail by itself, but those objects will drop specific items for you to recollect and use with the Crafting System to keep upgrading your player. The little details are what give a more immersive experience we believe.
Talking about immerse the game now displays a visual proposal using Parallex Effect of what the game might look like in the future. Since the idea is that the game must be in a devastated isolated environment these colors and structural proposal could be a nice way of getting to that idea.
Beside the previous major changes, the game now display some minor ones along with some bug fixes.
The Crafting System was visually updated to represent more the idea this game is intended to have.
A NPC was added just as a test for other features this game will have. (Keep posted to know more about it)
The enemies will always face the player when being finished and the damage is also now displayed of that attack to let the player know the amount of damage done by it, so it can measure the difference between the normal attacks and the finisher one.

Remember this project is done and will be finished because we, CalyStudios, believe that the Single Player Games are meant to stay, and not just as small games, but actual Heavy Weight games for the people to enjoy.
